A garden designer passionate about creating beautiful,
practical and sustainable outdoor spaces. My journey into garden
design came from a lifelong connection with plants and nature. I
wanted to combine creativity, problem-solving and my love for the
outdoors to create gardens that people can enjoy while supporting the
environment.

How I Became a Garden Designer?
I originally trained as a Social Worker in Spain before moving to Scotland. Although my career took me in a different direction, I always knew I wanted to pursue a creative profession working with nature and outdoor spaces.
To follow that passion, I studied Garden Design at SRUCu2019s Kingu2019s Buildings campus in Edinburgh, completing a three-year degree that gave me the knowledge and skills to design beautiful, practical and sustainable gardens. Today, I feel incredibly fortunate to combine my love of creativity, plants and the natural environment through garden design.
How is my Approach to Garden Design?
I believe gardens should be beautiful, practical and kind to the environment. That’s why I always aim to make sustainable choices, from selecting locally sourced materials where possible to reusing existing features and reducing unnecessary waste.
I particularly enjoy designing naturalistic planting schemes, combining plants that are well suited to the site’s conditions and naturally work well together. This creates resilient, low-maintenance gardens that provide year-round interest while supporting wildlife through every season.
For me, a successful garden is one that grows and develops over time, supports nature and becomes a place where people genuinely enjoy spending time. Whether you are looking for a complete garden transformation or advice on a particular area of your garden, I would love to help you create an outdoor space that feels right for you.
